No. All rentals must be returned to us by 5:00 p.m. We put your safety first, so riding after sunset is never permitted.
Do I need to bring my helmet?
You don’t have to — a helmet is included with all of our rentals. Those under 18 must wear a helmet by law. Sometimes kids (big and small) are happier wearing their own helmet, so please bring it if you like.
What kind of bike can I rent to check out the “interior” of the island?
One of our mountain bikes is the perfect way to explore the “interior” of the island.
You must become a member of the Catalina Island Conservancy first though.
Membership starts at $35 for the year which includes a bike pass. The Conservancy requires you to have a mountain bike with knobby tires like ours and a helmet, which we provide. You can learn more and join here.
Please note there are over 20 miles of roads within the village of Avalon where you may ride without the bike pass.
How do I get to Catalina?
